Steph Curry unveiled a new limited-edition bourbon this week called “Player Exclusive: Father and Son.”
Priced at $950 per bottle with just 1,000 produced in total, the 16-year Kentucky Bourbon celebrates Curry’s 16th season in the NBA, matching the total of his father, Dell.
In an Instagram post Monday, Curry announced the launch of the Gentleman’s Cut bottling, saying, “This is a special year for me because my dad played 16 years in the NBA. … It was always a goal of mine to play 16 years myself regardless of whatever the résumé looked like. I just wanted to get to 16 years, so I’m gonna enjoy it.”
The 100-proof bourbon began its life in 2008 in a 500-gallon Copper Pot still, aged for 16 years before bottling.
Curry debuted his Bourbon brand, Gentleman’s Cut, in 2023, first releasing a five- to seven-year aged bourbon for $79.99 in partnership with John Schwartz, owner of Amuse Bouche Winery.
He soon followed it with a 15-year-old bourbon in honor of his 15th year in the league, limited to just 230 bottles, each signed by Curry himself. Those bottles can currently be purchased for between $4,000 and $5,000 on the secondary market.
