A Caitlin Clark Prizm Gold Vinyl 1/1 NFT sold for $51,248 on Tuesday, setting a record for any WNBA NFT or Clark NFT on the Panini Blockchain.

The Gold Vinyl 1/1 is the seventh-most expensive NFT to sell on the Panini Blockchain to date, trailing only sales for stars Victor Wembanyama, LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Tom Brady, Kobe Bryant and Zion Williamson.

The most expensive Panini Blockchain NFT is the Wembanyama National Treasures NBA Logoman 1/1, which sold for $146,431 in December 2024.

The Clark Gold Vinyl 1/1 was originally pulled by user “SafariSports” on Feb. 20 from a pack and later sold to well-known high-end collector “SPINOTRON” for the record price Tuesday.

Packs of NFT Prizm WNBA were originally sold for $20 each, while packs of NFT Prizm WNBA FOTL sold for $30. Both types of packs sold out for the original retail price but can be purchased on Panini’s secondary marketplace — the NFT Prizm WNBA packs currently have a floor of $64, and NFT Prizm WNBA FOTL packs have a floor of $191.

Prior to the record sale, the most paid for a women’s basketball NFT on the Panini Blockchain was $20,000 for another Clark Prizm Gold Vinyl 1/1. That record stood for less than two hours before being overtaken.

The Prizm WNBA set has been among the most successful drops on the Panini Blockchain to date, with dozens of high-dollar sales since release.

In addition to the record-setting sales, seven other NFTs from the set have sold for $5,000 or more while more than 50 have topped $1,000.

The Gold Vinyl 1/1 is the eighth-most expensive Clark trading card — physical or digital — to sell to date, according to data tool Card Ladder. The record for any Clark trading card is the $234,850 paid for the 2024 Select WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl 1/1 PSA/DNA 10/10 at Goldin Auctions in December 2024.
