Cooper Flagg's game-worn shoes from his Duke debut are being cut up and inserted into Bowman U NOW trading cards.
Flagg, the No. 1 prospect in the 2025 NBA Draft, had 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the Blue Devils' 96-62 victory over Maine on Monday night.
Flagg's 2024-25 Bowman U NOW base debut card, available on Topps for $11.99, will feature a number of parallels that can be included in every order.
Variations of the base card to look for include: Blue /49, Purple /25, Red /10, Orange /5, Gold /1.
There will then be relic and autograph-relic redemption cards that will replace the base card in orders. These can be redeemed for the sneaker cards.
Look for:
- /25 Game-used sneaker redemption card
- /10 Game-used sneaker autograph-relic redemption card
- /5 Game-used sneaker autograph-relic redemption card
- 1/1 JUMBO game-used sneaker autograph-relic redemption card
The Bowman U NOW release will be among the most coveted early cards for Flagg, with the Duke star currently lacking a flagship release from a major manufacturer. Collectors should expect Flagg to be a top chase in future traditional releases from product lines such as Bowman University Basketball or Panini America's Prizm Draft Picks Basketball.
Although Flagg signed an endorsement deal with New Balance in August, his debut shoes were the Nike Kobe 6 Protro "EYBL" because of Duke's contract with Nike.
Flagg, 17, is one of the most hyped freshmen in college basketball history.
After spending the summer practicing with Team USA men's basketball ahead of their pursuit for Olympic gold, the 6-foot-9 guard currently has the best odds of any player in the country to win the Naismith Award, given to the most outstanding player in college basketball.
Flagg is a native of Newport, Maine, and the first No. 1-ranked recruit ever from the Pine Tree State.
