Topps NOW is commemorating Freddie Freeman’s walk-off grand slam to lift the Dodgers over the Yankees in Game 1 of the 2024 World Series with a new print-to-demand release.
Base cards, which feature Freeman alongside iconic Los Angeles outfielder Kirk Gibson, will retail for $11.99 during a 24-hour release window that ends Monday.

Among the parallels will be a 1/1 dual autograph redemption that will replace the base card in one randomly-selected order. Other parallels, which will also randomly replace orders for base cards, include Blue /49, Purple /25, Red /10, Orange /5 and Gold /1.
While Freeman’s homer, which sealed the Dodgers' 6-3 victory over New York in 10 innings, was crushing for Yankees fans, it offered a poetic symmetry for the L.A. faithful.
Thirty-six years after Gibson’s historic walk-off home run in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series, Freeman recreated the moment, as the injured lefty launched the game-winner into the right-field seats.
FOX broadcaster Joe Davis added to the moment while borrowing beloved Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully’s signature “She is gone!” home run call before adding “Gibby, meet Freddie!” to make it his own.
Part of the Topps NOW 2024 World Series collection, Topps also announced Saturday that pieces of a base from Freeman’s Game 1 homer would be included into select relic cards.
