Release date: Wednesday

Overview: Few products are more important to an individual sport than Donruss Optic is to football. Anchored by the ultra-popular Rated Rookies, Optic arrives this week with another long lineup of parallels, autographs and highly sought-after inserts.

Inserts: The major chase here remains the Downtown insert, which arrives this season with Super Bowl and International variations. The popular My House! set returns for another year, while Rookie Kings appears to be another major chase now in its second year with a revamped design.

Parallels and variations: As always, Optic delivers an impressive lineup of parallels that visually pop with a chrome finish. Panini highlights Flex, Electricity, Jazz and Black Pandora this year, though the Cracked Ice and true color parallels will likely be among the top chases.

Autos and relics: On-card Rated Rookie RPS Autos could be the major chase here with Rookie Patch Autographs likely featuring sticker autographs. For the veterans, Legendary Patch Autographs will feature some of the NFL’s all-time greats.

  • Hobby configuration: 20 packs per box, four cards per pack
  • Box break: One autograph, 20 Rated Rookies, 12 parallels, four inserts
  • Secondary market value: $849.95 (subject to change)

Release date: Wednesday

Overview: Packed with autographs, relics and cards with metal frames, Museum Collection returns for 2024 with another boom-or-bust format. Though every box might not deliver the desired value, few sets display as well as Museum Collection.

Inserts: Insert cards aren’t the major draw for Museum Collection, but 2024 does feature two new sets. Body of Work features a full bleed design and a painted art style, and Private Viewings shows retired legends with a black-and-white image.

Autos and relics: High-quality autographs, patches and other relics are the reason collectors buy Museum Collection, and this year is no different. Museum Quality Cut Signatures and Cut Signature Relics are 1/1s and feature all-time greats.

Other 1/1s include the Museum Frame Autograph Patches and Patch Booklets — these cards feature players from across a variety of generations.

Atelier Autographed Book Cards are full booklets with players backed by an image of their home stadium.

  • Hobby configuration: Four packs per box, five cards per pack
  • Box break: One Autographed Relic, one on-card auto, one Quad Relic
  • Secondary market value: $464.95 (subject to change)
