Panini America and Reebok will partner for the second time on a lineup of apparel and sneakers built around the iconic Prizm trading-card brand.
The collaboration, which will be released Friday, will feature a “Preseason” clothing line as well as three new sneakers with Prizm-inspired designs to honor Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith.
All three designs are based on Smith’s “Preseason 94” and “ES22” turf training shoes and pay homage to popular Prizm-related themes.
Inspired by the popular insert set, the ES22 “Color Blast” retails for $200 and features a Color Blast logo on the sides. Each pair comes with a limited-edition Smith trading card.
The base set checklist features a variety of parallels, including Reebok Shimmers as well as the Gold /10 and Gold Vinyl /1. Inserts include the Color Blast, Manga and Brilliance sets.
“Like Prizm in sports cards, Reebok’s archive is jam-packed with products and stories that have made a significant impact on their industry,” Jason Howarth, Panini America’s SVP of marketing and athlete relations, said in a statement. “Emmitt Smith — who’s been in the Panini and Reebok families for a long time — is undeniably one of the biggest game-changers in sports history."
Both inspired by popular parallels, the Preseason ‘94 Low “Purple Prizm” will retail for $120 while the Preseason ‘94 “Gold Prizm” will retail for $140.
The “Purple Prizm” and “Gold Prizm” colorways will not include a trading card.
The Smith collection is the second collaboration of its kind between Reebok and Panini America’s Prizm brand.
A similar collection celebrating Allen Iverson and the Question line of sneakers was released in 2022. Select pairs from that collaboration included trading card packs with a variety of Prizm parallels as well as on-card Iverson autographs.
Sneakers and apparel from the Smith collection will be available on Reebok.com as well as in select retailers.
