PSA has added new features to its app, including a card scanner and research tools meant to identify raw or graded cards, as well as a mobile submission feature.

The scanner and submission process are integrated, allowing for users to scan and submit a card in one flow.

Initially, the added features will not include estimates or sales history for ungraded cards.

CardLadder, a leading card data platform that provides both estimates and sales history, is owned by PSA parent company Collectors.

PSA also says newly released cards not yet in PSA’s system might not be recognized by the scanner in the initial rollout.

PSA has implemented a number of new updates to its app and desktop site this year, with the most notable being the ability to sell vaulted items on eBay via PSA's store.
