A Steven Spielberg-autographed 2008 Topps Heritage Indiana Jones card sold for a record $14,995 on eBay this week, a new high for a Spielberg-signed trading card.
Released in conjunction with the "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” film, as well as another Topps product dubbed Indiana Jones Masterpieces, the Heritage set included Spielberg autograph cards from previous films in the series.
Prior to the record sale, the most paid for the same card was $1,200. The record for another Spielberg card was $10,000 for another autographed variation from the Topps set.
The most expensive piece of memorabilia related to the Indiana Jones franchise to sell at public auction is the fedora worn by Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones in “Temple of Doom,” which sold for $630,000 in August 2024.
