Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler was robbed of his watch, reportedly worth around $100,000, at a horse racing track in Arcadia, California, according to ABC7.
Buehler was with his wife at the track at Santa Anita Park when a “mob of people” surrounded them and allegedly took his watch after unbuttoning his shirt sleeve.
This comes as Buehler, 27, who started 16 games for the Dodgers in 2024 and posted a 5.38 ERA and a 1-6 record, is set to start Game 3 of the National League Division Series against the Padres on Tuesday night in San Diego. The series is tied 1-1.
Buehler owns a “micro-share” in a racehorse named Authentic, which previously won the Kentucky Derby in 2020.
The make and model of the watch was not specified in the ABC7 report.
