Live e-commerce and box-breaking platform Loupe launched “Loupe Market” on Wednesday, allowing users to buy and sell single cards via the app.

Focused on mid- to high-end cards, sellers on the platform are vetted by Loupe via video call and will be charged a 10% selling fee (decreasing as prices increase). The company, which was founded in 2020, introduced a feature to allow users to buy and sell cards during a live break in July 2024.

“Loupe Market is the natural evolution of our trusted platform, creating a larger card-collecting ecosystem. Singles will now be easily accessible within the same app.” Loupe founder and CEO Eric Doty said in a statement. “Our mission is to serve every collector with a high-quality touch, regardless of how they prefer to enjoy the hobby.”

One use case the company described is allowing a collector to hit a big card on a live stream and opting to list the card on the Loupe Market without leaving the app.

Both graded and raw cards are available on the marketplace with "best offer" pricing. The app allows users to filter by sport, graded or ungraded, price range and seller.

Doty told cllct the average Loupe customer makes more than 10 purchases each month, with the average shop streaming for 100 hours each month. He added the top 500 customers have done a combined lifetime total of $75 million in purchases.
