Given the massive lines outside PNC Park for Paul Skenes Bobblehead Day on Saturday, it should come as no surprise the promotional collectibles have been in high demand on the secondary market.
The team planned to give out bobbleheads to the first 20,000 to enter the ballpark, but ended up promising all 37,113 people who attended the game could obtain one.
Still, countless more around the world couldn’t wait to get their hands on the reigning Rookie of the Year’s bobblehead. As of Monday afternoon, the highest price paid for the bobblehead on eBay was $176.
Dozens more fetched between $120 and $150, with more than 100 listed, and sales showing no sign of slowing down after two days.
