While you are watching the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday night, you might notice small silver pins on all the team's official draft hats.
Each is designed with the team's city in mind, with nods to the culture, history or geography.
From the Liberty Bell to a hog and a couple of bridges, we explain all 32 pins and ranked them in order.
As soon as I saw Sasquatch on the pin, I knew this would be a top-five pick. Then I saw it was wearing a jersey with the No. 12. Easy No. 1.
Skulls are always the way to go. For the Bucs, it’s an easy choice, but the best one.
Chicago is one of the few cities that actually cares about its flag, and the Bears are tapping into that here. It’s great to see a team going beyond their brand and repping the city.
The Liberty Bell, crack included, looks perfect.
When you have one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the world at your disposal (The Rockies), you take advantage.
That is not a Raven on the hat, it’s the Maryland Blue Crab. A bit of a gamble here, but it came out awesome.
At first glance, I wanted to pan this pin, which features the Cowboys’ star atop an American flag-patterned lower 48 states. But, despite my personal feelings toward “America’s team,” I can’t argue this is pretty great if you are a Cowboys fan.
The hog, a nod to "The Hogs,” the team’s legendary offensive line from the 1980s, is one of the best homages of the bunch.
Though it isn’t exactly a creative masterpiece, the Cardinals found the ideal formula for the basic pin: State plus mascot.
10. Los Angeles Rams
An ode to the Mariachi Rams, which plays before and during each game, this was a big swing. It is probably up for debate whether they nailed it or not, but the Rams deserve credit for really going for it … and not settling for a silhouette of their stadium. Ahem, Raiders.

11. Tennessee Titans
A guitar for Nashville is straight forward but solid. New Era makes sure to specify it’s an acoustic guitar because … (see below)
12. Cleveland Browns
Not sure which team picked theirs first, but the electric guitar for Cleveland’s rock 'n’ roll roots is made far less cool when placed next to the Titans.
The Roberto Clemente Bridge is depicted really well here, with more detail than most of the other pins.
It helps to have a great logo/mascot, but regardless, the Vikings made the right choice here to stick to what they know works: A Viking helmet.
An anvil and a hammer is kind of perfect.
16. Buffalo Bills
A Bison for Buffalo. Ok.
What percentage of people took a look at this pin and knew it was a fog horn? Not many.
Not the most imaginative of the bunch, but the simple Panther pin avoids any major pit falls and gets the job done.
In a similar spirit to Chicago choosing its city flag, L.A. picked the California Bear over its logo.
The choice to go for the Parasol Umbrella is a good one — lean into something to which the fans can connect.
21. New York Jets
The Jets went with the torch from the Statue of Liberty. Though, one could be forgiven for mistaking it for a symbol of how the Aaron Rodgers era ended in flames.
22. Miami Dolphins
A palm tree works. Feels like a dolphin would be better, but you do you, Miami.
23. New York Giants
The subway car looks quite cool and works for the Giants (though there is no subway in New Jersey).
24. Detroit Lions
The Motor City angle is the right instinct here, but the simplicity of the wheel pin is just subpar execution. How about a Model T or something a bit cooler?
Look, no shade intended toward Jacksonville, but if there is no better landmark to place on the pin other than the John T. Alsop Jr. Bridge, maybe we just stick with a Jaguar.
The Chiefs decided to put 142.2, the sound level reached by fans at Arrowhead Stadium to set a world record, on the pin. Does anyone actually think that is cool?
27. Atlanta Falcons
A peach for the state’s fruit is already lacking in inspiration, but add in the inability to decipher the pin from a globe and you have a recipe for a mediocre pin.
The bicycle is a reference to the team’s training camp tradition of riding kids’ bikes to practice.
The Pats are like Gretchen Wieners trying to make fetch happen, except it’s a lighthouse.
The Bengals have a throne as their pin, which New Era says is “representing the Bengals as the ruler of the jungle.” “A” for effort, but this feels like a bit of a stretch.
31. Houston Texans
“H-TOWN MADE” looks terrible on a pin … because there shouldn’t be words on any of these pins in the first place. Embrace some symbolism!
What are we doing here? Seriously? You have all of Las Vegas to choose from — the Bellagio Fountains, the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign and even the fake Eiffel Tower — and you pick a silhouette of your stadium? The Raiders should be docked a draft pick for this.
