CGC announced Tuesday it will raise prices for its card grading services, with increased fees coming into effect May 6.
The new prices will affect grading tiers and services for standard cards, Signature Series and dual CGC-JSA card and autograph grading.
Bulk and Economy tiers both will increase by $2, to $14 and $17, respectively, while the Standard tier will increase by $5 to $45. Express has changed from $75 to $85, and Walkthrough from $250 to $275.
Submissions completed prior to May 6 and delivered to CGC by May 23 will qualify for the previous pricing.
For comparison, CGC’s competitor, PSA, the top grading company in the world, charges $18.99 for its Bulk tier, $19.99 for its Value Bulk tier and $24.99 for its Value tier. For Walkthrough service, PSA charges $599.
