Caitlin Clark set a new record Saturday night, and it didn't come on the court.

A 2024 Panini WNBA Select Gold Vinyl signed Clark rookie card, graded PSA 10/Auto 10, sold at Goldin Auctions for $234,850.

The card more than doubled the previous record for a Clark sale: A 2024 Blue Viper 1/1 Autograph sold for $97,212 in October.

The sale also marks the second-highest sale for any women's sports card ever, only trailing a Serena Williams 2003 NetPro signed patch rookie card (PSA 8/AUTO 10), which sold for $266,400 at Goldin in 2022.

It's likely only a matter of time before Clark sets the all-time mark for a women's card, as her market has only continued to soar following a stellar rookie season in which she was named WNBA Rookie of the Year.

In the last year, Caitlin Clark cards have shattered previous WNBA records. Before Clark, the highest price ever paid for a WNBA card was $10,800 for a Sabrina Ionescu card.

Saturday night's sale was 21.7 times higher than the Ionescu mark.
