Trading card manufacturer Topps sprinted into 2025 on Wednesday with the launch of "1-of-1 Day" in celebration of the hobby’s most rare and coveted cards.
Part of the social-media campaign included first looks at a number of upcoming 1-of-1 cards, including autographs from Shohei Ohtani, superfractors from the upcoming release of 2025 Topps Chrome WWE and new MLS Rookie Debut Patch Autographs.
Social accounts for Major League Baseball, PSA and even "Star Wars" and Marvel Entertainment joined using the #1of1Day hashtag.
The celebration is the latest attempt from Topps to brand a day with a hobby-related theme. In 2023, Topps claimed Dec. 12 as Tom Brady Day alongside the launch of a video advertising his appearance in 2023 Bowman Draft Baseball as a Montreal Expos prospect.
